From what I've observed, a lot of people turn their heads away from most NBBs. Much of the negative things said about NBBs are true, but inflated. The most common turn-off is the trigger pull. Although NBB triggers are indeed inconvenient, I find it possible to fire consecutive shots fairly accurately with most of the ones that I've fired. Now, I am not the most handy with the steel, and I assume that most other airsofters can control the double action trigger better than I can.

Another gripe I often hear is the lack of realism, and that they sometimes have too much power to be safe to skirmish with.

Tokyo Marui Desert Eagle

We just got in the new Tokyo Marui Desert Eagle. Dang, it rocks. Blow back action is incredible and the weight feels really good in your hand. The best GBB from TM and a contender for the next side arm.

A Day @ SC VILLAGE

To those of you who were able to make it out to SC Village for their first airsoft event, thank you for conducting yourselves in a professional manner. I spoke with Gio (VP of Marketing), and he was extremely impressed with how our Airsoft group conducted ourselves and that Airsoft WILL be making its way onto the SC Village calendar. Right now it looks like the second Sunday every month from 3pm to 8pm. The refs were very happy with how the games flowed, and how we got on and off of the fields and most importantly, kept our goggles on while on the field.

This is definitely big step for our sport of Airsoft. Thank you to all, especially those who helped in getting this event organized.
