Minnesota Airsoft Association

The first ever Minnesota Airsoft Convention is coming to Inver Grove Heights! This event will be a great chance to buy airsoft equipment and gear straight from vendors, learn about the sport, see some of the coolest toys around, hang out with your buddies, and more! This event, while not being held by the MAA, will offer a one of a kind experience for new and veteran players alike to get a whole new appreciation of the sport! This is a great chance to hang out with some of the best airsoft players in the region, to load up on guns and gear, or to be exposed to the sport for the very first time! Responsible Airsoft

A short note here of support for our brothers in arms across the Pond in Great Britain.  They are under a heavy assault of misguided politicians to ban airsoft as we know it.  Take a look at this, is it a problem for only the UK?  Absolutely not!

We would never impose our sense of legality on our friends in the UK, HOWEVER, let it be a lesson to us.  It can happen here.  It has already happened in a small out of the way tiny town you may have heard of...New York City.  God speed to our British friends.  Let all us Yanks understand responsible airsoft begins with what we do.  It will effect us and our friends for years to come if we don't do our part to keep the sport safe and sane.

Practical airsoft tips:

• Don't play pirate or trespass
• Cover your airsoft guns
• Keep them in the trunk
• Keep the orange tips on the guns
• Make friends with the local police

Sure it all sounds like preaching, but common sense seems to be the best way to keep our sport safe and playable for years to come.
