Real World Testing on Tactical Gear

Reading reviews on airsoft equipment and related tactical gear can be confusing.  Some websites have glowing reports supposedly written by customers.  Steelhawk has made a friend over in Iraq who is testing some airsoft equipment.  We'll post his reviews here and on the website.  We can't tell too much, but here is a link to his unit - Stryker Unit.  Remember, these tests are being made by an individual in the US Army and are not to be confused with an endorsement by them or any other official body.  This is a soldier writing about equipment as a user and all the opinions are his own.

Steelhawk Airsoft Industry Store Opens Its Pistol Course

Steelhawk's Industry store is happy to announce the opening of an indoor pistol course.

Small groups of players manuever through 2,000 square feet of a challenging maze of hallways and small rooms.  There are no easy shots as there is exposure in the doorways at every turn.  Ask the staff to make it even more challenging by adding smoke to the mix.

The games are quick and it takes lightning like reflexes to stay alive.  Bring a friend and play one on one or join in with some of the best players in Southern California.

Hours

• Friday 7pm to Midnight
• Saturday 7pm to Midnight
• Sunday Noon to 5pm

Special hours for parties or groups can be easily arranged.

Cost: $10

Rules: Pistols only and full face masks (paintball style) are required.

We've just added ghillie suits to our tactical offerings.  Hide out with complete confidence when you skirmish.  Made from 100% Nylon netting with 500 lb tensile strength, these suits have 1-ply, 10 lb. jute threads made from 100% Tossa Jute Fiber.  Each knot is hand tied with 4-5 strands of Jute for 40-50 lbs of strength at each knot.  Available in four colors - woodland, desert, mossy oak, & leafy green.

Why we don't sell silencers

Silence is golden, but silencers are trouble.  At least for US airsoft retailers.  One of the top searches at our online store is for "silencers".  What will you find?  Nothing.  Given the number of requests, we wanted to let you know why we don't carry silencers.  There was a new law that went into effect this year.  Most airsoft silencers are now illegal to sell.  They now carry big fines and jail time.  Some of the add-on silencers for airsoft can reworked to become illegal devices.  Airsoft should always be a "legal" sport, so we go out of our way to always follow the laws.  We think everyone should.  People who play pirate, or disobey laws, make it tougher on everyone.
